💡 FORT SMITH FACT OF THE WEEK

Fort Smith played a significant role in the California Gold Rush of 1849. It was one of the primary starting points for wagon trains heading west to California, particularly for those taking the southern route. The city became an important center for outfitting "forty-niners" (gold seekers) during the late 1848 and early 1849 period

🔍 LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: FORT SMITH COFFEE CO

Meet the Maker: Gabe and Kaity Gould are the co-owners and operators of Fort Smith Coffee Co. Gabe is a Fort Smith native and Navy veteran. Kaity was born and raised in San Luis Obispo, CA. Together, they balance the business and the raising of their four children - Jack, Benjamin, Rebekah and Anabelle. Coffee Co. is truly “mom and pop”, so you will often see them in the shop with their team. [1]

Why I Love It: My go to drink is there Shaken Espresso with a hint of chocolate, I have too many stamp cards filled up and just keep on collecting more.
